There are many things out there that go "bump" in the night. The most common of the paranormal are ghosts. On this page we will be examining the difference between a few of these.

Ghosts: These are spirits of the dead that can do many different things. Some experts have said that they have been known to stay on this plane long after death due to the so-called "unfinished business". Ghosts           have been known to move objects around as pranksters or just go about their daily routine that they did before their untimely demise. These spirits can be called disembodied souls or the life force of a deceased person or animal. They can be male or female and can haunt anytime or anywhere.

Poltergeist: These are not as simple to understand as a regular haunting. These are what the Paranormal world calls "noisy spirits". There are 5 different stages of poltergeists, ranging from anything that can be absorbed by the normal 5 human senses, to the "danger level" where it is the most violent and life threatening of any level. At first these spirits can act like a regular haunting, but the intensity increases over time until it tries to suck the life force out of the person or people it attaches itself to.

Demons: They control the underworld and have the power to posses and do physical harm to others. These are the most dangerous. The Catholic Church has done numerous exorcisms with only slightly more then half success rate.
